2. What are the Computer ethics in Cybersecurity?

Computer ethics is a set of principles that guide the use of technology in a responsible and ethical manner. In cybersecurity, computer ethics plays a critical role in ensuring the protection of data, privacy, and other sensitive information.

The following are some of the computer ethics in cybersecurity:

Confidentiality: Confidentiality is the ability to keep information private and secure. In cybersecurity, it means protecting data from unauthorized access and ensuring that only authorized individuals have access to sensitive information.

Integrity: Integrity is the ability to ensure that data is accurate and has not been tampered with. In cybersecurity, it means protecting data from being modified, deleted, or corrupted.

Availability: Availability is the ability to ensure that data is accessible when needed. In cybersecurity, it means ensuring that systems and data are available to authorized individuals and are not subject to denial of service attacks or other forms of disruption.

Responsibility: Responsibility is the ability to take ownership of one's actions and to be accountable for them. In cybersecurity, it means taking responsibility for protecting data, being transparent about security practices, and complying with laws and regulations.

Trust: Trust is the ability to rely on others to do the right thing. In cybersecurity, it means building trust between users and systems, and between organizations and their customers.

Privacy: Privacy is the ability to control access to personal information. In cybersecurity, it means protecting personal information from unauthorized access and ensuring that individuals have control over their personal data.

Ethical hacking: Ethical hacking is the practice of using hacking techniques to identify vulnerabilities in systems and networks. In cybersecurity, ethical hacking is used to identify weaknesses in systems and to test the effectiveness of security measures.
